In the light of recommendations of the Parliamentary Board constituted to finalise the list of candidates for the technocrat and women's seats for the Northern Areas Legislative Council, the President of the Pakistan Muslim League, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has approved the following of candidates.
District, Technocrat, Women: District Gilgit, M. Aslam Khan, Advocate, Dilshad Bano, district Diamir, Jan Alam, Advocate, Hamida Mustafa, district Astore, Nasrullah Khan, Shahia Shafi, district Skardu, Ghulam Nabi, Advocate, Fauzia Abbas, district Ghanche, Brigadier Muhammad Zakir (Retd), Amina Ansari Ghizer, Ali Murad Khan and Noor-ul-Ain.
Necessary instructions have been issued to chairman of the Parliamentary Board for issuance of party tickets to the above mentioned candidates.
