Election Tribunal of the LHC on Tuesday adjourned hearing of a petition seeking disqualification of MNA Riaz Fatyana for the next week. The court adjourned the hearing due to non-availability of the Advocate General Punjab who was busy in the Supreme Court.
The petition filed by Khalid Khan Kharal against Parliamentarian Riaz Fatyana from NA.94 Toba Tek Singh contended that two references were pending against the latter at the time of filing nomination papers, and sought his disqualification.
