A delegation of ministers belonging to Pakistan Peoples Party Patriot comprising Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao, Science and Technology Minister Nouraiz Shakoor and Minister for Kashmir and Northern Areas Faisal Saleh Hayat called on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and discussed coalition and party matters, besides overall political situation in the country.
Talking to the delegation, the prime minister said that the success of the government in the Senate elections has reflected the strength and maturity of the coalition, a press release issued here on Thursday said.
Shaukat asked the MNAs to enhance contact with the people of their constituencies to resolve their problems. He said after achieving microeconomic stability, the government is now focusing on transferring the gains of economic growth to the grass roots level to improve the life of the common man.-PR
