The lineup of vessels waiting to load sugar in Brazilian ports slipped to 24 from 34 a week ago, shipping agent Williams said Thursday.
In a report, it said 13 vessels were lined up in the southern port of Santos, down from 19 the previous week. There were no vessels in Paranagua, compared with two last week.
In north-eastern Brazil, nine vessels were lined up at Maceio, the same number as previous week, and at Recife there were two ships, compared with four a week ago.
