The provincial capital received heavy and continuous rain over the last 12 hours on Sunday. The dark thick clouds were still hovering the sky. Met office has predicted that weather will remain cloudy with chances of more rain in the valley and its surrounding areas during the next 24 hours.
The clouds started covering the sky yesterday, causing notable fall of mercury, which was further dropped after the rain. The weather has become cold once again and people could be seen enjoying the pleasant weather coming out of their homes and moving towards picnic points.
The maximum temperature on Monday is likely to remain between 16 to 18 degree Celsius and the minimum between 7 to 9 degrees. The highest temperature recorded here on Sunday was 19.2 degree Celsius while the lowest was 8.5 degrees. Humidity remained 38 percent.
