Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim has ruled out any reshuffling in his cabinet, nor the portfolios of ministers are being changed, he said. He stated this while talking to media men at the helipad of Nasirabad in Kamber-Shahdadkot district on Sunday evening.
He further said the Sindh government was functioning desirably, so there was no need to bring any change in Sindh cabinet.
Sindh chief minister ordered to establish service quota for the sons and wards of police officials who die during dispensation of official duty, other than the "Shaheed Quota."
To a query Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim said ban on unionism in government departments including education department would be strictly implemented and an ordinance could also be issued, if needed in this regard.
He termed the unions in government departments as illegal and added that a handful of persons were misleading the growing up generation and putting hindrance in their education, which could not be tolerated at any cost.
To another question the chief minister said on issues regarding the rights of Sindh province he was more nationalist than the other nationalists. He vowed to safeguard the rights of the province and added that no injustice with anyone be allowed.
The Sindh chief minister said he had directed the member land utilisation, Sindh board of revenue to retrieve the public land and remove occupation everywhere in Sindh including Karachi. However, he added the residents of regular settlements (Goths) in Karachi might not be displaced.
Sindh chief minister ordered the upgradation of rural health centre (RHC) Nasirabad to Taluka Hospital Nasirabad (Kamber-Shahdadkot). He also announced inclusion of water supply schemes of Kamber and Nasirabad towns in the annual development programme (ADP) and added that work on them would soon be started.
He directed the irrigation officials of Larkana to carry out the lining and improvement of Arther minor of Nasirabad.
Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim had come to Nasirabad of Kamber-Shahdadkot district to attend the wedding ceremony of Hafiz Abdul Khaliq Phulpoto, son of Al-Haaj Allah Rakhio Phulpoto.
Senator Abdul Gahaffar Qureshi was with him on the occasion and other high officers including Regional Police Officer/Additional Inspector General of Police of Sukkur Police Region Muhammad Akbar, DIG Police Larkana Range Akhtar Hassan Gorchani, DCO Kamber-Shahdadkot at Kamber Mukhtiar Hussain Soomro, Taluka Nazim Kamber Sardar Khan Chandio, DPO Kamber-Shahdadkot Ahmed Yar Chohan received him at Nasirabad helipad. Later, the Sindh chief minister left for Karachi.
