New senators asked to submit poll spending details

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has directed all newly elected senators to submit the details of their election expenditures with respective returning officers within 30 days.
ECP Secretary Kanwar Dilshad said the submission of the details of election expenditures would only be acceptable on a prescribed form provided by the Commission.
He said all Senators who were elected recently had been asked to submit the said details.
"Those Senators whose names have been published in the official gazette on March 9, 10 and 11 following the election will have to submit these details," Kanwar Dilshad said.
He said that Senators were required to submit their election expenditures' details before April 9, 10 and 11, within 30 days of the dates their names were published in the official gazette.
