India and Pakistan have agreed to start a regular bus service between Amritsar and Nankana Sahib from March 24, it is learnt. Sources in the Ministry of Communications told Business Recorder that India had accepted Pakistan's proposal to start bus service between Amritsar and Nankana Sahib from March 24.
After a successful trial run of the bus, Pakistan proposed March 10 for commencement of the service on regular basis. But for some reasons, the launch of the bus service was deferred with Islamabad seeking postponement of the inaugural run from March 10 to March 24.
According to the agreed schedule, the first bus will roll from India on March 24 and will be leaving Pakistan on March 28.
