A cavalcade of 161 buses will leave for Lahore from here on March 23 to participate in centennial convention of Pakistan Muslim League (PML).
This was decided at a PML meeting held here on Sunday with Provincial Irrigation Minister Chaudhry Aamir Sultan Cheema in the chair. Provincial Minister for Colonies, Mian Manazir Ali Ranjha, District Nazim Inamul Haq Paracha, PML office-bearers and Nazims, Naib Nazims and councillors were also present on the occasion.
It was decided in the meeting that one bus carrying PML workers will leave for Lahore from each union council of the district to participate in the convention.
Addressing on the occasion, Chaudhry Aamir Sultan Cheema said that Pakistan Muslim League is the founding party of Pakistan. He said that centennial convention in Lahore would prove a symbol of fraternity and harmony of the four provinces.
