Carpet exporters slam PIA cargo service

The Lahore-based carpet exporters are facing hardships in executing orders of foreign buyers due to mishandling of cargo services by PIA. The shipment of carpet exporters are held up for the last two months due to which orders are being cancelled resulting in loss of precious foreign exchange for the country, said Naeem Tahir Sheikh in a press release issued here on Tuesday.
He said that Pakistani exporters want to send their carpets for High Point Show, a major interior décor exhibition to be held in the first week of April in the US, but PIA cargo officials are not co-operating.-PR
