Downward trend was seen on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Wednesday as several buyers did not take interest in the proceedings due to huge stock with them, dealers said.
The March vaida commenced on firm note at Rs 491.00 and that proved to be day's best at the same level, they added. Later, it shed rupees three to be day's lowest at Rs 488.00 and closing at Rs 488.00 too.
The May vaida opened lower at Rs 495.00 and in the process of low business, it picked up 30 paisa to be day's best at Rs 495.30. It shed 60 paisa to be day's lowest at Rs 494.70 and market settled at the same level, dealers said.
