Some commodities fluctuated on the cereals side on the grain market on Friday as a result of tight supplies, dealers said. On the cereals side, Masoor Australian and Canadia both gained the same amount of Rs 200 to Rs 2800 as buyers went after the same commodity.
In the meantime, Urad from Burma quoted at Rs 1600-1800 due to strong demand, they said. Wheat Mexipak old type did not show any change at Rs 1125, while the new type quoted at Rs 1000-1010.
Guwar managed to pick up Rs 50 to Rs 1900-2100 for all stations.
On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag rose by Rs 5 to Rs 520-530. Rice and grams sector stayed put in process of trading, they said.
