Abdul Sami Khan, chairman Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA) in his statement has expressed apology for the inconvenience to the people, which will be caused by one day token strike of petrol pumps on 29th March 2006.
He added that they have been compelled by the govt to do so, as their commission has been slashed by 20 percent, so running of petrol pumps on such meagre and low commission is not viable.
He further advised especially to ambulances and other essential service vehicles to get their tanks filled on the night of 28th March 2006 to avoid any untoward situation and difficulty. He appealed the people to cooperate and support petroleum dealers for their genuine and true cause so that they may serve the people honestly and in better way.-PR
