Exports of Malaysian oil palm products for March 1-25 stood at 853,838 tonnes, up 1.2 percent from the 843,660 tonnes it reported for February 1-25, cargo surveyor Society General de Surveillance said on Monday.
SGS said the estimate comprised 756,293 tonnes of palm oils and 97,545 tonnes of oleochemicals and Laurie oils. In the palm oil category, 68,556 tonnes were made up of RBD palm oil, 316,351 tonnes of RBD palm olein, 78,027 tonnes of RBD palm stern and 175,659 tonnes of crude palm oil.
The European Union was the biggest buyer of Malaysian oil palm products for March 1-25, taking 250,003 tonnes, followed by China with 147,861 tonnes.
