Upward trend was seen on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Monday as most of the buyers made forward buying, dealers said. The May vaida commenced lower at Rs 494.80. later, it picked up Rs 2.00 to be day's best at Rs 496.80. During the day, it shed Rs 2.10 to be day's bottom at Rs 494.70 and market settled at Rs 496.20.
The July vaida opened with modest losses at Rs 507.00. and that proved to be day's lowest at the same level. Later, it picked up Rs 2.20 to be day's best at Rs 509.20 and closing was seen at Rs 508.50.
