The State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC) has disbursed Rs 15 million death claims cheques among 66 claimants, the heirs of the victims of October 8 earthquake here.
Addressing the ceremony as chief guest, Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan on Wednesday appreciated the services of the State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan for the noble cause of providing financial protection and assistance to the heir in the difficult time.
The AJK PM said that a piece of land for construction of state life offices in Muzaffarabad will be provided. Sikandar lauded the services of the State Life Insurance, which fulfilled its commitment by giving the death claims to the heirs of the victims who lost their precious lives in the deadly quake of October 8 last year.
