Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco) has extended the service contracts of 42 employees of different cadres in the region. According to the orders of the Mepco chief executive, Nazim Ali the beneficiaries include a driver, 11 security guards, one laboratory assistant and 29 assistant linemen.
Meanwhile, Deputy Manager Training Hayat Khan Mahmood said departmental examinations were being regularly held with a view to promoting employees.
He said only regular employees, having five-year service at their credit, could appear in these examinations. He said these examinations would start on April 3 and conclude on April 19 in the South Punjab.
