Expo Faisalabad-2006 will play a vital role to promote and market the Faisalabad made products at local as well as at international level. This was disclosed by the Chairman FCCI Fair and Exhibition Committee, Shahid Ahmad Sheikh, during standing committee meeting.
He said that this mega event will be organised on international standards, as last year it met a great success at Bohrranwali ground. This event will develop close relationship among the manufacturers, exporters, importers and consumers by gathering them into one close location to provide them business opportunities. This is an effective way to interact directly with the stakeholders, share their experiences to improve the quality of products and create awareness to export more and more, to earn foreign exchange for the Mother Land, he added.
Shahid Ahmad Sheikh further stated that Federal and Provincial Ministers, Federal Secretaries, leading textile manufacturers, Industrial and Traders Associations, Civil and Military officials, diplomatic missions in Pakistan, foreign delegates and large number of consumers will grace this mega event.
Vice Chairman Committee Waheed Khaliq said that more than 70 percent stalls have been booked by the leading business organisations. He urged that business community should avail this golden opportunity.
