Minister for Population Welfare Chaudhry Shahbaz Hussain said on Monday the services of women religious scholars would soon be involved for disseminating population welfare message among rural and illiterate population.
Various women religious scholars having excellent knowledge about Islam and would pursue a vigorous campaign especially targeting country's illiterate population, he told PTV.
In the first conference held in Islamabad 25 women scholars were called but 45 attended while in Lahore conference 50 scholars were invited but 160 attended.
Additionally scholars hailing from minority community would too be involved for increasing awareness campaign regarding population welfare and keeping the family size contained in accordance with their income resources.
Workers from various gigantic organisations like factories, Pakistan army, sugar mills and steel mills have been approached in a bid to create population welfare awareness.
