United Insurance Company Pakistan has launched two more international standard products by the name of Travel Guard and Health Guard. The new insurance plans provide comprehensive and economical coverage in areas of overseas travel and group medical insurance.
UIC is among a few national companies to offer such value-added products in the form of competitive packages.
UIC Country Manager Dr Murtaza Mughal, while launching the new products with value-added features, said, "We believe and strive for best services to our customers."
He said travel guard is a medico accidental and assistance service plan with direct settlement of medical claims facility abroad and health guard provides comprehensive and economical solution for all health worries, including OPD and hospitalisation expenses.
Dr Murtaza said, "We have made arrangements with Sirius International Reinsurance, UK and Speciality Assistance Services, UK. We have insured direct settlement claims abroad with prompt assistance and services.
"Our plans offer more value-added features at very reasonable rates, including services like free extended PA/PTD covers, death repatriation, emergency evacuation, funeral expenses and arrangements, free medical assistance locally and abroad and waiver of hidden taxes and charges along with transparent premium refund facility in case of visa refusal," he added.
A very fast growing UIC has engaged highly qualified teams of professionals who pioneered these products in the country. The company had already launched auto, account holders, passengers and mobile insurance plans.-PR
