Pakistan Coast Guards seized a launch loaded with foreign liquor near Ormara, Balochistan in Tuesday wee hours. The PCG officials on routine sea patrolling at night observed a suspicious launch.
On seeing the PCG patrol boat, the launch tried to escape. However, when chased the occupants of the launch got panicky and jumped into the open sea.
The PCG seized the launch and arrested one of the occupants while body of another was found floating near the shore in the morning which was handed over to local administration.
On search, PCG recovered huge quantity of liquor from the vessel.
Further investigation is in progress by the PCG special interrogation team.
