Bullish sentiment persisted on the forward cottonseed oilcake market on Wednesday as buyers increased purchasing to cover the forward sales, dealers said.
The May vaida opened unchanged at Rs 500.50. Later, it gained Rs 1.30 to be day's best at Rs 501.80. During the day, it lost Rs 1.80 to be day's bottom at Rs 500.00 and market settled at Rs 501.30.
The July vaida commenced with gain at Rs 515.70 and that also proved to be day's best at the same rate. During the day, it shed Rs 1.50 to be day's bottom at Rs 514.20 and market closed at Rs 514.60.
