The Karachi Port handled 51,602 tonnes of cargo including 41,521 tonnes import and 10,081 tonnes export cargo including 4,401 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 49,702 tonnes dry cargo including 43,956 tonnes general cargo; 5,746 tonnes sugar and 1,900 tonnes oil/liquid cargo.
Three ships namely Hanjin Busan, Pu He and Spring Trader sailed out to sea during the report period.
Nine vessels viz Y M Moon, APL Dalian, Corinthiakos, Kota Wajar, Jade Trader, Iran Baabaei, Hyundai Stride, Atlantic Express and Full City are currently at the berths.
Five ships namely Jade Trader, APL Dalian, Kota Wajar, Iran Baabaei and Full City expected to sail on Tuesday, while four ships namely Atlantic Express, Hyun Kwang, Ju Fu Men and Hyundai Stride are expected to sail on Thursday.
Three ships namely Ravan River, Kota Teraju and Aquadance due to arrive on Wednesday, while three vessels viz QC Wisdom, MOL Silver Fern and Amar are due to arrive on Thursday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 41,723 tonnes comprising 36,188 tonnes import and 5,535 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo carried in 144 containers (TEUs) was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 24,212 tonnes diesel oil; 2,386 tonnes edible oil; 8,009 tonnes seeds; 4,668 tonnes rice and 2,448 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two ships namely CV MSC Socotra and MT Samho Jewellery sailed out to sea during the report period, while two more vessels viz CV Indonesia Star and MT Warbah are expected to sail on Wednesday.
A total of five vessels viz Iran Borhan, MSC Amnok Gang, Indonesia Star, Mumbai Express and Star Dream are currently at the outer anchorage.
Five ships namely MV MSC Amnok Gang, CV Indonesia Star, Mumbai Express, Asian Gyro and MT Star Dream due to take berths on Wednesday.
Chemicals carrier MT Holly Galaxy due to arrive on Wednesday, while three more ships namely CV AL-Isha'a, Xian Wan and MT Anette Kosan with containers and chemicals are due to arrive on Thursday.
