Foundations of a Great Heritage, it takes more than raw horsepower to build tractor traditions. It takes the commitment to quality that Farmtrac has demonstrated since the very first tractor rolled out from its Tarboro, NC-based factory in the year 1948.
Farmtrac is as proud of its heritage as are the several owners of the Farmtrac tractors throughout the world. Founded in 1941 as Long Manufacturing Farmtrac North America, LLC is a leading manufacturer and distributor of agricultural tractors, attachments and implements in the United States.
Over the years, Farmtrac has built on its great heritage by continuously engineering new products and setting new performance standards, creating state-of-the art manufacturing and assembly facilities, and establishing a growing global presence in USA. Farmtrac is in the process of upgrading and expanding its manufacturing facilities in United States.
In the recent past, Farmtrac North America has made multi-million dollar investments in upgrading, modernising and expanding its manufacturing and product development capabilities. Sophisticated robotic welding systems. CNC plasma burners, CNC plasma punch systems, high accuracy CNC presses and other modern manufacturing equipment is used extensively to maintain a high level of product quality and finish.
The engineering learns the dynamic design packages, 3D modelling and other latest techniques to ensure robust design work. Farmtrac has business alliances with several reputable companies around the world, including companies in South Korea, Italy, India, Canada, Romania and Poland.
Farmtrac product range includes more than 20 different models of tractors ranging from 27 to 73 horsepower, several models of front-end loaders and backhoes, and a wide range of implements in United States Farmtrac distributes tractors through an extensive network of over 300 dealers.
Farmtrac has a strategic tie-up with the Italian industrial group SAME DEUTZ-FAHR, a world leader in Agri. Tractors, comprises of tractors from 30 to 265 HP.
The two companies would co-operate with each other for development, sourcing and marketing of tractors to become a major player in the USA market. SAME has undertaken to manufacture the 7-Series tractors for Farmtrac.
Farmtrac recently formed a long-term relationship with Universal Tractor Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. A leading Pakistan company engaged in farm machinery business. Farmtrac is very exited about this venture and is hopeful of consolidating this further to make Farmtrac the No 1 Tractor brand in Pakistan, by establishing manufacturing facilities at Port Qasim Industrial Area, Karachi.
Farmtrac is the only tractor company that has invested in manufacturing facilities in United States - making investments which are so very necessary to become a major player in United States.-PR
