Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I want to draw the attention of the K.E.S.C authorities to the inconvenience caused to people due to the objectionable system of supply of power in Karachi.
Breakdowns are frequent. Besides, the unofficial loadsheddings are for hours. In these days of hot season, one can imagine the miserable lot of people who have to stay in rooms without fans.
Students are unable to do their homework and above all the water supply is badly effected due to breakdowns.
However, it is very strange that the K.E.S.C authorities put the blame on the old supply system of power. And hence it is very sad to say that 58 years have passed since the creation of Pakistan and the KESC authorities have not so far been able to change the old supply system or produce enough electricity.
The breakdowns are affecting our national economy adversely for Karachi. Machines and labourers in the factories suffer and there is low output. Will the K.E.S.C authorities realise their neglecting attitude and set things right.
