Turkey's manufacturing sector confidence index rose 3.6 points month-on-month in March to 104.2 points, well clear of the watershed separating optimism from pessimism, a Central Bank survey showed on Wednesday.
In January the index had fallen to the 100-point cut-off mark, but it edged back from that in February to 100.6 points.
The survey polls businesses for their expectations about the future.
Industrial production - one of the main contributors to gross national product - rose 5 percent year-on-year in February, according to data published this week which beat market forecasts.
That was a clear recovery after a 6 percent fall in output in January.
