Careem, the UAE based cab hailing app, has just jumped up its game in the Pakistani market, after the company announced to expand its operations in five more cities.
The company, which started its operations in Pakistan last year, would now be available in Hyderabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Peshawar and Faisalabad.
“We're just getting warmed up!Proud to expand our services in Hyderabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Peshawar and Faisalaba,” Careem announced on its Facebook page.
At present, the company is operating in three cities of Pakistan i.e. Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
Careem’s also called for recruitments that the company is advertising for Hyderabad, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Peshawar and Multan operations.
“Careem is looking for driven and ambitious individuals to lead these cities! If you have what it takes then apply now,” added the company’s statement.
Careem has further stated that it will be bringing its services to these cities in a matter of weeks, reported media reports. However, no specific date of when it will begin its operations was provided.
However, the development now provides a challenge to its main rival Uber, in catering to the transportation needs of Pakistanis.
