'Rumours dangerous for poultry industry'

Rumours are dangerous for poultry industry and for workers also which are almost 250,000, said Pakistan Poultry Association Convenor Dr M Afzal on Wednesday.
Talking to PTV, he said that that industry should flourish, so that more people get employed. He said bird flu was present in many countries but the positive aspect was that it had not been detected in human beings. By cooking food at high degree, not only bird flu but also other bacteria are finished, he added. He said that Poultry Association was holding meetings and was in touch with the authorities, and good development had been made in that regard.
