The government has made education free upto the matriculation level in order to increase literacy rate in Pakistan but on the other hand, there are very few government schools in the country and the students have to approach private schools to get education.
This situation is very common in big cities. The school owners know this entire situation and therefore they do what is best for them.
This year Punjab boards delayed the matriculation exams and it became a source of more income for the school owners. The matric exams will start in the first week of May and the school administration is compelling the students to pay the fees for the month of May even though the schools have to give free education.
In this regard I will put Qazi Pilot High School, Qanchi Stop, Lahore on top because they are threatening the students that if they don't pay their fees the school will not issue roll number slips.
So I will request the concerned authorities to take notice of this school which has made this noble profession, a source of handsome income.
There are other schools too behaving in the same manner.
