Bulls returned in the front seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where fresh buying spree in trend-setters moved the entire ready-board in upward direction amid increase in index.
ISE-10 index was plus by 32.08 points as the index moved from 3,341.01 to 3,373.09 points. The overall turnover stood at 202,780 shares as compared to previous volume of 322,800 shares.
A total of 132 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (68) closed in positive territory, 64 showed negative signs.
The turnover of OGDCL was 80,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 207,000 shares. The volume of PTCL was 64,600 shares as compared to previous turnover of 48,000 shares. The turnover of Fauji Cement was 20,000 shares.
