Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Mohamamd Yousuf has welcomed the decision by President Pervez Musharraf regarding the construction of all big water reservoirs, including Kalabagh dam as bold and timely step in the best interest of the country.
In a statement here on Thursday, he said that the launching of Diamir-Bhasha dam was the continuation of other courageous decisions taken by the president in the past. The chief minister maintained that the construction of Diamir-Bhasah dam would help create harmony and understanding among the four provinces of the country.
Jam Mohamamd Yousuf said that the president had taken a courageous step by bypassing the unwarranted apprehensions of some politicians.
