Special Ambassador for World Food Programme (WFP) Abdul Aziz Alrukban who arrived for a brief visit to the quake ravaged area of Muzaffarabad on Thursday visited the skill development center at Nurual in the NRSP compound.
The visiting WFP special ambassador was told about the activities and objectives of the Skill Training Institution on which he expressed his pleasure.
The skill development institution has been set up in collaboration the Northern Rural Support Programme, NRSP, WFP and ILO, where some 500 survivors including male and female have been trained in various trades to overcome tape of skilled people, whereas some 600 were also being imparted training in Rawalakot, Bagh and Muzaffarabad in different skills including paper Mache, car, pantry, Masonry, Electricity and woodwork.
