Eight persons of a family including four brothers, sister and mother have lost their lives while seven others sustained injuries when their van rammed into a truck on Indus Highway near Manjhand district Jamshoro early on Thursday morning.
According to Edhi Centre, the family of Muhammad Ramazan Khokhar was on way to Larkana in Van No: GE-1604 to attend a marriage ceremony and when their van reached near Manjhand at about 0545 hours, it dashed into an unfit Truck No: K-4084, which was parked by the driver on highway for repair.
The tragic accident claimed the lives of Ghulam Mustafa, Ghulam Haider, Ghulam Murtaza, Altaf Hussain all sons of Muhammad Ramazan Khokhar, Shahzadi w/o Muhammad Ramazan, Uroosa d/o Muhammad Ramazan Sarwar s/o Wazir Abro and Munir s/o Muhammad Mithal Khokhar, the Edhi volunteers informed.
