Musharraf one of world's most influential people: Time

President Pervez Musharraf has been recognised by Time Magazine, an international news weekly, as one of the most influential people in the world.
His name figures in the Time's list of 100 people "who shape our world" profiled in five categories: "Heroes and Pioneers," "Leaders and Revolutionaries," "Scientists and Thinkers," "Builders and Titans," and 'Artists and Entertainers. The list will appear in the magazine, which is due to go on stands on Monday.
The president, who figures in the category of "Leaders and Revolutionaries," is in a very distinguished company. Among other leaders listed are: US President George W. Bush, Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Iranian President Mamoud Ahmedinejad, Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniya and The Pope as well as Bill and Melinda Gates, who run a humanitarian foundation. Revolutionaries include Moqtada al Sadr of Iraq.
