Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has lauded the contributions being rendered by Jimmy Engineer as an artist and social worker.
The Chief Minister said that the artists and social workers like Jimmy Engineer can make great contributions in promoting the image of Pakistan as a progressive and modern and forward looking country in the comity of nations.
Felicitating Jimmy Engineer on being conferred with civil award of Sitara-i-Imtiaz on the Pakistan Day, the Chief Minister assured him that the noted artist's Pakistan Movement series painting titled, "Refugees Resting Under the Trees" would be handed over to Jimmy Engineer for its repair and rehabilitation.
