A strong plea for the observance of traffic rules and even-handed usage of traffic laws along with better orientation of both general public and traffic police staff on the road safety erasures was made here at a seminar, organised by the International Organisation for Peace and Welfare.
UPP Managing Editor Mehmudul Aziz presided over the seminar, while International Organisation for Peace and Welfare Chairman Sohail Shelan, Principal of the Traffic Training Institute, DSP Abbas Ali Shah, prominent social worker and poet Mehr Wajdani and Advocate Syed Rizwan also spoke.
Sohail Shelan in his address said his organisation had drawn up a comprehensive programme for promotion of awareness of the traffic laws among the public and the traffic police personnel, who implement the laws.
