The LPG Distributors Association (LPGDA) has directed all the LPG retailers and distributors to adopt safety measure and install safety equipment in their shops and distribution houses in 15 days time.
LPGDA President Hadi Khan told newsmen that a meeting of all distributors and retailers of LPG gas was held recently to discuss the issue of safety measures at their shops and distribution houses and adopt measures for the safety of distributors, retailers, shop keepers and other persons.
During the meeting, the distributors said that they had already adopted safety measures and installed safety equipment in their distribution houses. Whereas the retailers said that only 10 percent retailers have adopted safety measures. They also assured that all retailers will soon adopt the safety measures.
