National Engineering Services Pakistan Limited (Nespak) has inked an agreement with Bangladesh Government for 4-Laning Dhaka-Chittagong Highway Project.
This project would cost about Taka 2,000 crores, and shall be completed within three years. This will be the biggest project of Highways ever undertaken in Bangladesh.
According to Nespak sources here on Wednesday, the contract agreement of the Project was signed on April 30 between Chief Engineer, Road and Highways Department, (RHD) Ministry of Communications, Bangladesh on behalf of the Government of Bangladesh and Karamat-Ullah Chaudhry, Managing Director and President of Nespak on behalf of the consultant comprising Nespak and a consortium of local consultants.
