Khusbakht Shuja'at, Prominent Television personality has emphasised the need of inclusion of fashion designing, textile designing and art work in school curriculum.
Speaking as chief guest at launching ceremony of first directory of fashion designers of Pakistan, she expressed her confidence that the directory will go a long way in vitalising the fashion scene of Pakistan and making Pakistan exports of made-up garments more value added in the international market.
She praised Almurtaza Machinery for taking the effort to publish the first directory of fashion designers of Pakistan. Welcoming the guests, Asif Rashidi, CEO and managing director of Almurtaza underscored the challenges being faced by the Pakistani textile and apparel industry in the face of cheap exports from neighbouring countries.
