FCCI opposes raise in POL prices

Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) has condemned recent increase in petroleum and oil products and demanded its immediate withdrawal.
In press statement here on Friday, FCCI President Mian Mannan said the increase in POL prices was unjustified, adding this sudden raise in POL would have far reaching impact on the kitchen of commoners.
He blamed the government for failure in controlling the POL prices, and demanded that the government should evolve some workable strategy for keeping the petroleum prices in the reach of the general public. He said that prices of daily use items had gone beyond the reach of the poor people.
