Aamir Cheema hanged himself in jail: VoG

Deputy Head of Pakistan's Mission in Berlin Khalid Usman has said that according to details provided by the German Police, Pakistani student Aamir Cheema hanged himself in jail.
In an interview to Voice of Germany, he said according to the German Police Aamir Cheema's case was in the court and the prosecutor was preparing documents on the charge sheet framed against him. The date of hearing was yet to be fixed, he added.
To a question, he said the German Police did not inform the Embassy about detention of Aamir adding as it related to the sketches' controversy. Perhaps they were conducting inquiry on intelligence level, he said.
