City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal has said that under the public private partnership policy around 3,317 schools would be equipped with modern education system.
Syed Mustafa Kamal and FPCCI Vice Chairman Akbar Abdullah inked the agreement to develop CDGK schools in line with modern education system. On the occasion, FPCCI Chairperson Farhana Iqbal was also present.
Speaking at the agreement signing ceremony here on the other night, Mustafa Kamal observed that around 29,748 teachers were badly needed to be trained with modern techniques of education in order to provide modern education system to 660,313 students.
He termed the education as a 'key' to bring about a positive and progressive change in the society. He urged that private sector should come forward to take part in the development of the country along with government, stressing the need for collective efforts against the backwardness of the country.
City Nazim assured that the CDGK would spend unlimited amount of money to develop the CDGK running schools to compete with other standard model schools in the metropolis.
