Erra to hold donors meeting

Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (Erra) will hold a national donors meeting to seek support for building schools and hospitals in the quake-hit regions.
"Instead of seeking cash donations from the participants of the conference, Erra will ask them to provide health and educational facilities for the people affected by the last October's earthquake, he said talking to PTV.
A mechanism for transparency has also been put in place in consultation with the donors for "effective" utilisation of the money in reconstruction and rehabilitation projects, the news channel added.
