International Credit Information Ltd (ICIL) workshop on Bancassurance is being held on May 23-24, 2006 at Karachi Sheraton Hotel. The workshop is one of ICIL's open enrolment courses, which has already organised seminars/workshops on consumer banking, secured loans transactions, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, internal audit and financing cotton ginning.
The workshop will be conducted by Simon Drimer, the Principal Consultant of NMG Financial Consulting, a specialist bancassurance consultancy firm based in Singapore and with operations in 15 countries around the world. ICIL and NMG have entered into an arrangement to offer consultancy services to banks and insurance companies on bancassurance.
Bancassurance is one of the most significant changes in the financial service sector and banks and insurance companies have found bancassurance an attractive and profitable complement to their existing activities. The workshop will focus on how to set up bancassurance operations in Pakistan and the global best practices in this field.
