Message from President, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry

It gives me immense pleasure to know that FPCCI, Standing Committee on Women Entrepreneurs is holding Int'l Conference on Women Leadership and Award Ceremony to be held on 12-13 May 2006 to highlight & showcase their achievements to million of peoples who directly & indirectly benefit from their work.
The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry has established an Standing Committee on Women Entrepreneurs which for the last 4 or 5 years has been working its level best for the promotion and uplift of the entrepreneurial skills of businesswomen. I really appreciate the efforts of Mrs Rukhsana Jahangir, Chairperson of the Committee for her ceaseless efforts in this regard. Various training programs on business methodology and promotion of entrepreneurial skills have been conducted by the committee. We are proud on her for taking practical steps towards economic empowerment of the women of our beloved country.
The role of FPCCI, Standing Committee on Women Entrepreneurs in betterment of Women is appreciable. I must congratulate Ms Rukhsana Jahangir, Chairperson Women Committee and her team for organising the vent in befitting manner.
I am also thankful the scholars who are coming from abroad for sharing their knowledge with Women of Pakistan.
