The University of Sindh on Friday launched a Raw Water Scheme for its plantation to increases the greenery through the campus Jamshoro. The university under its plantation and beautification department set up the raw water line with the cost of Rs 3.6 million.
The university has separated sweet water line for human consumption and raw water line for the plantation from its filter station at the campus. The separate raw waterline would be highly helpful in greenery and existing plantation would be more developed.
Professor Raja Muhammad Ilyas, Incharge Plantation and Beautification in his briefing informed the vice chancellor that through new water line the expenses towards water for plantation through water tankers would be saved and proper water would be supplied to the plantation at the campus.
