The Punjab capital will host a Saarc trade exhibition in August this year. According to Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) sources here on Saturday, products to be put on display at the expo include automobiles (auto parts, accessories and components, oils & lubricants).
Industrial & engineering products (light engineering, SMEs, spare parts) food, farm and pharma (agriculture, agri food processing, dairy products, packaged food, floriculture, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, agriculture machinery), Information Technology (telecom, software, hardware) and textiles (hosiery & knitted garments, accessories, textile machinery etc).
The sources hoped that the exhibition would help businessmen of South Asia interact with each other. It will also be useful for finding new approaches for the future and discovering complementarities amongst the Saarc countries.
