The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued notices in a petition by a student Urooj Altaf challenging holding of composite examination of 9th and 10th classes with prayer to the court to direct the respondents to allow her to appear in the regular exam of 9th class.
The petitioner through her counsel M D Tahir contended that she had got admission in the 9th class but the respondent government has announced to hold composite examination of 9th and 10th classes. She contended that the respondent government instead of facilitating the students is creating difficulties for them. She prayed to the court to arrange holding of separate exam of 9th class.
The court, after hearing the petitioner's counsel at length, issued notices to the respondents for May 29 and rose for the day.
