Prominent artist and social worker, Jimmy Engineer is in the midst of mega artwork relating to cultural and historical heritage of Pakistan.
Talking to APP, Jimmy Engineer said the paintings were part of the series entitled "Architectural Compositions of Pakistan, South Asia and the world at large".
He said more than 60 paintings, mostly on the big canvas, were being done for enhancing the image of Pakistan in the comity of nations and bringing countries closer to each other through art and culture.
The Karachi-based artist and social worker, on a goodwill tour to Islamabad, said that he had been doing those paintings for more than four years. It would take him over two more years to complete the mega artwork undertaken by him, he added. He said on completion of all paintings in the series, the paintings would be exhibited within the country first at the federal and provincial capitals and then taken to other countries for exhibition.
Jimmy said through those architectural compositions, he had tried to project in colours on the canvas, the historical monuments including the forts, mosques and other cultural and historical aspects of the life.
