imageHollywood star Dwayne Johnson in a shocking confession said that hes considering running for the US Presidency in 2020. In the wake of Donald Trump's election win, anything can happen, according to The Rock.

The mega-star said that to Vanity Fair about his own political prospects while promoting his new Disney movie Moana on Sunday. When asked if he would consider running for president in 2020, the 44-year-old actor said, I wouldn't rule it out. It would be a great opportunity to help people, so it's possible, Johnson said. This past election shows that anything can happen.

The former WWE star is no stranger to politics; he spoke at the 2000 Republican National Convention to encourage young people to vote regardless of party affiliation.

This isnt the first time hes teased us with his political dreams, either. Back in June, he told Britains GQ, Ill be honest, I havent ruled politics out. I cant deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring. And beyond that, it would be an opportunity to make a real impact on peoples lives on a global scale. But there are a lot of other things I want to do first.

For now, the superstar will be next seen in computer-animated Disney musical Moana which will hit theatres on November 23. He is also busy shooting for the remake of Jumanji with Kevin Hart and Nick Jonas in Hawaii.
